Wearing High Heels v Flat Shoes.









I pulled these stills from a short video in Spanish. I like these images which clearly show how high heels damage not only the bones in your feet, but also higher up in the body. I find it hard to believe when women have told me that their "high heels really comfortable". The achilles actually shorten permanently when heels are worn all the time. Feet are extremely adaptable and love the feedback from wearing different shoes and walking bare foot. Feet enjoy walking on different surfaces, when they make adaptations on soft, hard and uneven ground. The less choices you give your feet, the nervous system will have less feedback and over time the feet will stiffen and the body will become more rigid with the aging process.
