Learn to Move with Ease with Rangimarie Tuesday, 18 August 2020 from 17:30-18:30


Play and explore with Rangimarie, Bones for Life at WeMove Studio.

Due to the success and popularity of our monthly Movement Intelligence workshops with Jenny over the last 18 months, we are now offering you a chance to come and retrieve knowledge and practice this amazing work in 6 x weekly, 1 hour classes.

Movement Intelligence and Bones for Life is based based on Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais’ approach to somatic learning and developed by his student Dr. Ruthy Alon.

In these classes you will gain new insights to your movement practice and work with the Bones For Life tools in small sections to embody and refine the movement process. You will leave feeling better! Stronger, more supple and at ease. The exercises are fun and can be done by individuals with a wide range of ages and abilities. No experience necessary, all are welcome to come and explore this work.


Tuesdays 5:30 - 6:30pm - August 18 & 25 September 1, 8, 15, 22.

Facilitator: Rangimarie Ferguson is the National Director of Movement Intelligence (M.I.) Australia and in partnership with Jennifer Groves. Feldenkrais practitioner & M.I. senior trainer Australasia. She has worked closely with Dr Ruthy Alon Movement Intelligence founder & Feldenkrais senior trainer. Rangimarie, is passionate about sharing Movement Intelligence with the public for creating optimal health. She is an advocate for young people and First Nation people’s cultural lore and traditions and a mother of four children. Rangimarie is a recognised community member and leader in the far north coast of Australia where she is acknowledged for her vast skill based teaching and unique delivery of Movement Intelligence programs with first nation peoples and reconnection to country, arts and multimedia programs. She presents a wholistic approach for individuals and community wellbeing, pioneering initiatives for the nation and globally. Rangimarie has a background in Kapa Haka Maori performing arts dance theatre and Hip Hop. “Movement Intelligence has brought a new lens to my movement. I have gained broader insight, ease and grace. But, most importantly an efficiency of stability and care, creating a foundation of ‘Biological Optimism’, which I have never experienced before”.
